Requisition Types
The Requisition Types page allows system administrators to define the types of purchase requisitions that can be created on the Create PR page.
To open the Requisition Types page:

Open the Administration Menu page.

Under the PURCHASING ADMIN heading, click Requisition Types.
Creating a requisition type allows you to define a new value that users will see in the Type drop-down menu when creating a purchase requisition. To create a PR type:

Click the Add New link.
The Purchase Requisition Type dialog box opens, allowing you to define the new type.

In the Requisition Type field, enter the name of the requisition type.

In the Tab Order field, enter a numeric value.
The Tab Order indicates the position, in menus, where this value will be listed. Lower numbered values are displayed toward the top of the list. Values will the same tab order will be sorted alphabetically.

In the Facilitated Reorder Flag field, select Yes to specify that this is the type of PR to create when the Create PR button is clicked on the Advanced Inventory Reorder page.
Only one PR type can have the Facilitated Reorder Flag set to Yes.

In the PR Approval Required field, select Yes if this type of PR must go through the approvals process.

In the Active field, select Yes to make this PR type active.
Inactive values remain in the system, but are not displayed to users.

Click OK.
The PR type is added to the list. The name of the user who added the PR type and the date and time it was last updated are displayed.
PR types can be modified. For example, if you want to change a PR type's position in drop-down menus, you can modify the tab order. To edit a PR type:

Click the Edit link to the right of the PR type you want to edit.

Modify any of the following values:
- Requisition Type – the value that users will see
- Tab Order– the position in which the PR type will be displayed in drop-down menus
- Facilitated Reorder Flag – identifies the PR type as the type to create for reorders
- PR Approval Required – indicates that approvals are required for this PR type
- Active– Yes indicates that the PR type is active (displayed to the user)

Click OK.
The modified PR type parameters, including the name of the user who edited them and the date and time when they were edited, are displayed.
PR types that have not been used can be deleted from the system. If the PR type has been used, it you cannot delete it. You can, however, edit it and change it to Inactive so that users can no longer access it.
To delete a PR type:

Click the Edit link to the right of the PR type you want to delete.

Click DELETE.
A dialog box opens asking you to confirm your choice.

Click OK.
